Fundraising

Make it a FUNdraiser!

Many of our clients are non-profits hosting their annual events for members, donors and friends. There are several ways to host a Casino Fundraiser and the following is just one way that Dice and Diamonds can structure your event.

Fundraiser Example

Upon arrival, all guests are given $100 in Lucky Bucks. Guests can then donate $20 (example) to your cause for $500 in additional Lucky Bucks that will be traded for the same value at any casino table.

At the end of the gaming, chips will be traded for raffle tickets at 1 ticket for every $500 in chips or any part of $500. For example, if a guest has $525 in chips they would be given 2 raffle tickets. If a guest chooses not to gamble they can turn in their original $100 in Lucky Bucks for 1 raffle ticket. The better they play the more chances they have for winning a raffle prize.

At the time that you designate, the raffle winner or winners are drawn.

Additional Suggestions

  • Each gaming table can have corporate or individual sponsors in order to further offset any costs.
  • If you choose to sell alcohol, additional drink tickets can be purchased by guests.
  • The Wheel of Fortune Prize Wheel can be used as a separate raffle with coupons (included) given to guests with donation who then spin to win prizes.

Legal Requirements

For these type of events it is essential that non-profits work with a business such as Diamonds and Diamonds that is licensed by the Department of Justice.  The group must provide a Letter of Determination of exemption in order to participate.
